I'm Juliana or, if you prefer, Ju Orbita. Creative Orbit is how I sign my creative space and how most people know me. I'm a Brazilian full-time freelance graphic designer and illustrator, located in a city in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. Just like every child, I was surrounded by colored pencils, paints, paper and lots of scribbles. And I always maintained this in my life, at school, at university... Until my passion for illustrated life became more and more present in my days.

Gaduated in architecture and urbanism and drawing accompanied me throughout my academic training and professional life, and since then I have specialized in stories, narratives and the entire children's and youthful and playful universe.

​I like exploring characters and places, telling their stories, drawing inspiration from nature, animals, everyday life, urban spaces, dreams and cultures.

When I'm not drawing you can find me baking cookies, playing a grumpy old guitar, photographing landscapes, leaves, birds, insects and architecture, hunting for obscure antiques and beautiful crockery, embarking on exploratory and imaginative expeditions, reading or organizing candy-eating contests alone.
