I'm Juliana, or as many know me, Ju Orbita, since Orbita Criativa is how I sign my creative studio. I'm brazilian full-time freelancer illustrator, an architect and graphic designer. My passion for illustration began in childhood and evolved throughout my academic and professional journey. Today, I dedicate myself to creating charming stories and narratives.

 

My creations are a journey to discover fascinating characters and settings, where each narrative takes on a unique life. Nature, animals and everyday life intertwine in my works, as I explore different media, such as watercolor, colored pencils, paints, and digital, to create unique worlds and special narratives. With a keen eye for nature and everyday life, I seek to unite the real and the fantastic in each work, using different media to create narratives that bring a smile to the face.

 

When I'm not drawing, you can find me baking cookies, playing a cranky old guitar, photographing landscapes, leaves, birds, insects, and architecture, hunting for obscure antiques and beautiful china, embarking on imaginative and exploratory expeditions, reading, or organizing candy-eating contests by myself.
